Kep1er reveals their official fandom name & colors!

Yesterday, Kep1er took to Twitter to announce their official colors & name for their fans!

The offical name of Kep1er fans is now Kep1an ("케플리안" pronounced "Keplian"). The name is pretty literal in meaning "One who supports Kep1er". So, if you were hoping for something a little more unique, you were probably a little disappointed.😅

Yes, the fresh girl group’s official colors are a lovely lavender and white, and lavender and yellow for their fans. Much like the fandom name, a more literal approach was probably taken when choosing the colors.

Apart from the group’s name being chosen from the submissions of Mnet's "Girls Planet 999" viewers, Kepler is also the name of exoplanets beyond our solar system. The colors of two of them being...you guessed it: Lavender & Yellow!

Let this go to show that sometimes going the literal route in design is fine, and can pay off. Color psychology is a great thing, but if you name your group something like “Red Sky” why would you go with anything other than red as your official color, right?
